When adult diapers outsell baby ones… something shifts.

🧠 Factoid of the Week – “The Diaper Flip”
In Japan, adult diaper sales have officially surpassed baby diaper sales — and the gap is only growing.
By 2027, sales of adult incontinence products are projected to rise by 16%, while baby diaper sales are expected to drop by 8%. In 2023, Japan recorded just 758,631 births — its lowest number since the 1800s.
In response, major manufacturers like OJI Holdings have announced they’ll stop making baby diapers altogether — shifting their focus entirely to adult products.
Factories can pivot. Supply chains can adapt.
But here’s the real question:
What happens when there are more patients than nurses?
An aging population doesn't just change the market — it changes how society functions.
Fewer caregivers. More demand. And a future that forces us to rethink everything from healthcare to economics.
🔁 Let’s shift gears into something more personal. A reflection from this week that might hit home...
Big things take time.
It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately — probably because I need the reminder myself. When you're building something from the ground up like JITY, it’s easy to feel like you're behind. But the truth is, most great things don’t happen quickly — they just look like they did.
Take Huel, for example. It launched in 2015… but it only really caught fire in the last few years.
Liver King didn’t start going by that name in 2022 — he called himself that way back in 2017.
Even Steve Jobs said it best:
“If you really look closely, most overnight success took a long time.”
The point is — when we zoom out and give ourselves more time, we actually underestimate how much we can achieve.
But most of us try to win in 4 weeks. And when it doesn’t happen? We give up. I’ve done it. Maybe you have too.
When I first started training, I’d hit the gym for 2–3 weeks, not see any new veins or gains, and call it quits. I thought I was failing.
But during COVID, stuck at home with a pair of old dumbbells and nothing else, I finally stayed consistent for 4 weeks straight.
That’s when things started to change.
If your goal is to gain muscle or lose fat — stick at it.
I guarantee you: if you put the work in long enough, you will see results.
We all respond differently. Some build fast, some build slow. But don’t bail on the process after 14 days. Don’t swap plans every time something looks shinier.
If a program says “4 weeks to get in shape,” then commit to it for the full 4 weeks.
Give your body, and your future, a fair shot.
As Alex Hormozi puts it:
“Most people overestimate what they can achieve in a year, and underestimate what they can achieve in a decade.”
Hang around long enough, and you’ll get where you’re going.
🔧 Now, a JITY update — and a glimpse into where we’re going next.
Over the past few months, we’ve been quietly refining what started as a crazy idea: turning real chicken breast into a powdered protein. We’re now using a new process — mincing the raw meat twice before cooking it with enzymes that help break it down while keeping all its nutritional power intact.
This updated formula was sent to our manufacturer for flavouring, and we’re expecting the samples back within the next two to three weeks. If they taste as good as we think they will, we’ll finally be ready to launch.
But if they don’t?
We’ll get back to the lab, again.
Because that’s what JITY is: not hype. Not shortcuts. Just relentless progress behind the scenes.
Building in silence. Letting results do the talking.
And while our focus is still 100% on the product, we’re also starting to push the brand out into the world.
Right now, no one knows who we are.
But that’s the advantage.
We’re the brand no one saw coming — but you did.
You believed before there was a product. Before there were flavours. Before there was even a name people could Google. So to thank you for backing us early, we’re dropping something special this Friday:
Founder Edition JITY Jumpers.
Not just hoodies. Symbols.
Crafted by the same Portuguese manufacturer that supplies Represent Clothing — and for the first week, offered below cost to our early community only.
This isn’t just a logo you wear.
It’s a statement.
That you believe in building before bragging.
That you chase growth when no one’s watching.
That impossible ideas don’t scare you — they motivate you.
If that’s you, we’d love you in this drop.
This Friday. 9AM. Be ready.
We will reach out Thursday to 5 people in regards to the free hoodies!
