🧠Factoid of the Week: The White House Jelly Bean Era
During Ronald Reagan’s two terms as U.S. President (1981–1989), over 300,000 jelly beans were consumed at the White House.
Reagan had a serious sweet tooth — specifically for Jelly Belly jelly beans.
The habit started when he was governor of California and followed him all the way to Washington.
Jelly beans were everywhere: at meetings, in offices, even on Air Force One.
A presidential candy craze that shaped eight years of U.S. snacking history.

💥 This Week’s Learning
Your looks are a depreciating asset.
Your mind is an appreciating one.
So invest your self-worth wisely.
What are you really valuing most?
If your appearance will fade — and it will — should your self-esteem depend on it?
This isn’t about dismissing the pursuit of a great physique. We’re here for that.
But while you're building your body, don’t forget to build your mind.
That’s part of why this newsletter exists:
To fuel you physically — but also challenge you mentally.
Each edition is here to sharpen your mindset, drop insights that make you think, and help you grow in ways that last longer than your reflection.
Building your mind is hard.
For some, it’s even harder than training their body.
That’s why a lot of people push themselves to physical exhaustion — not just for the gains, but to outrun the mental battle they haven’t figured out how to face.
So the next time you take a jab at yourself — because the dress didn’t fit right, or your arms looked small in a t-shirt — pause for a second.
Just being able to sit alone with your own thoughts, without reaching for distraction, is a skill. A privilege, even.
One that many people never learn.
That’s why your self-worth has to go deeper than the mirror.
It’s not about what people see — it’s about what you’ve built inside when no one’s watching.
If this newsletter is here to help you, then here are a few ways to help yourself — simple practices to start building that mental muscle:
- Sit in silence each day. Even 5–10 minutes with no phone, no noise, just your thoughts. It’s uncomfortable at first. That’s why it works.
- Cut back on cheap dopamine. Less scrolling. More boredom. That’s where real clarity comes from.
- Be kinder to yourself. The reps you put in mentally matter just as much as the ones you do in the gym.
- Start journaling. Reflect. Ask yourself better questions. Put your thoughts somewhere other than your head.
None of these are easy. But neither is growth.
And you’re not here for easy.

🏗️ JITY Update: The Ball Is Rolling
Our latest round of chicken protein samples has officially shipped out to over 20 testers. The product has been refined again and is now sitting with the lab — waiting on your feedback.
We’re not interested in guessing what people want. We're building a product you would actually buy, and your input helps guide every step we take in that lab.
This week, we also reached out to an influencer we genuinely respect — not just for their reach, but for the value they bring to their audience. They've agreed to test the product and share feedback, and while we’re only offering samples at this stage, we’re staying grounded in what we believe:
Partner with people who are insightful, not just popular.
Thank you for helping us turn something unthinkable into something unstoppable.
